How to Use Emmao 5% Cream
Precaution before use:
When directly applied to the skin, cover it with an air-tight dressing after applying for this medicine. The occlusive dressing on the application site should normally be maintained for 1-3 hours, and the numbing effect lasts at least 1 hour after the air-tight dressing is removed.

How to Use Emmao 5% Cream

1)Needle insertions (intravenous catheters, blood sampling):
Apply approximately 2g of Emmao 5% Cream lido for at least 1 hour, and maximum 5 hours.
2) For minor superficial surgical procedures (treatment of molluscum contagiosum):
Apply 1.5∼2g of Emmao 5% Cream lido per 10㎠ of skin for at least 1 hour.
3) For major superficial surgical procedures (split-skin grafting):
Apply 1.5 to 2g of Emmao 5% Cream lido per 10㎠ of skin for at least 2 hours, maximum 5 hours.
4) Genital mucosa:
As a pre-treatment for removal of condyloma, apply approximately 10g of Emmao 5% Cream lido for 5 to 15 minutes. After removal of the cream, the procedure should be performed immediately.
5) Leg ulcers:
Cover with an air-tight dressing after applying. Emmao 5% Cream lido is intended for single use when used for leg ulcers, the remaining cream on the tube should be thrown away. Apply 1 to 2g of this medicine per 10㎠ of skin up to a total of 10g on the leg ulcer. The Emmao 5% Cream lido should be applied for at least 30 minutes, with up to 60 minutes for necrotic tissue with a thicker penetration barrier. Cleansing should start within 10 minutes after removal of the medicine. In the treatment of leg ulcers, the medicine can be applied for a maximum of 15 times in 1-2 months if no loss of effect or increase in local reaction is observed. When using Emmao 5% cream lido in infants aged 3-12 months, it is possible to use a maximum of 2 g of cream on a skin area no larger than 16㎠.
Caution after use:
The numbing effects may last an hour or more on the area applied.
