What is Delgada?
Delgada is a highly effective fat dissolver that can be used for body and facial contouring. Delgada does not contain any steroids. Delgada requires minimal down-time and does not produce significant side-effects. Delgada touts that it prevents a yo-yo effect on injected areas.
Characteristics of Delgada
The main ingredient of Delgada is synthetically-derived deoxycholic acid. The deoxycholic acid works to disrupt the cell membrane and stimulate the decomposition of adipose cells. Delgada’s main ingredient deoxycholic acid is an ideal substance for various reasons. In the human body, the naturally occurring albumin and tissue-related proteins reduce the activity of deoxycholic acid. Therefore, the effects of deoxycholic acid when injected is only limited to the subcutaneous fat tissues that lack protein. Protein-rich tissues, such as the muscles and skin, are unaffected by deoxycholic acid while contributing to the safety of using deoxycholic acid as they prevent deoxycholic acid from spreading to untargeted areas.
Delgada can be injected into any area of the face and body that has fat. This can include the double chin and cheeks in the face. For the body, this includes the shoulders, upper arms, abdomen, love handles, buttocks, outer thighs and inner thighs.
How to Use Delgada
Delgada should be administered using a 30 to 31G needle. Delgada should be injected into the subcutaneous layer. After the procedure, the injected area should be massaged.
The total dosage for one session should not exceed 16ml (2 vials). It is recommended that one patient undergoes a total of 5 sessions with a 1 week interval between each session.
Precaution after treatment with Delgada
- Avoid heavy exercise or vigorous activity
- Avoiding eating late at night or before you sleep
- Drink plenty of water
- Avoid taking hot baths or going to the sauna for 1 week

Delgada SHOULD NOT be administered to the following patients:
- Patients who currently have an infection in the target area
- Patients who have blood-clotting disorders
- Patients who are allergic to any of the ingredients included in Delgada
- Patients who are pregnant or breast-feeding
